Before and After School Program Director and Lead Teacher Part-Time, Non-Exempt Location: Mahopac Falls Elementary School, Mahopac, NY Schedule: 7:00 am - 8:30 am and 1:30 pm - 6:00 pm Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour Responsibilities

Guiding Compliance: Ensure that staff and the program adhere to OCFS guidelines, Healthy Kids policies, and the host school rules. Bringing the Fun: Direct engaging hands-on activities based on the Healthy Kids Curriculum, covering fitness, STEAM, academics, arts, and homework completion. Managing Operations: Maintain attendance and registration records, and ensure proper staffing levels to keep the program running smoothly. Communication: Maintain open lines of communication with parents and family members through the Playground App. Team Collaboration: Communicate effectively with your supervisor and team to address daily occurrences and resolve issues promptly. Qualifications

Education and Experience: To qualify as a director, options include: two years of college with 18 credits in related fields and two years of relevant child care experience (including supervisory experience); OR a New York State Childrens Program Administrator Credential with two years of relevant experience; OR a School-Age Child Care Credential or other office-recognized credential with two years of relevant experience; OR an Associates degree in a related field with two years of relevant experience. To qualify as a lead teacher, options include: 9 college credits in Early Childhood or related field with plan of study toward a credential or degree and two years of experience; OR a Child Development Associate Credential or other credential with two years of experience; OR an Associates degree with two years of experience. Background checks and health requirements: Be ready for background checks and fitness to perform job duties. Personal qualities: Warm, friendly, professional, reliable, and capable of working with kids, parents, and teammates. Physical ability: Able to bend, stretch, lift, and carry up to 50 lbs as needed.
