+ 10% Bonus. An established and mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a
Vice President of Finance
to join its senior leadership team. The organization delivers high-quality, affordable healthcare to thousands of patients across the western suburbs of Chicago through its network of community health centers, home care, and hospice services. The nonprofit provides a collaborative, patient-focused environment where finance leaders can make a true impact. Responsibilities
Lead, mentor, and develop a six-person accounting and finance team. Oversee grants management and ensure compliance with reporting requirements. Manage financial reporting, audits, and budget preparation. Maintain and improve financial systems (NetSuite, with some legacy Sage). Partner with senior leadership and the board on financial strategy and planning. Serve as a potential successor for the CFO role. Qualifications
CPA required 5+ years of management experience Background in healthcare or nonprofit sector required Strong experience with grants required Hands-on leader—comfortable being “in the weeds” when needed Growth-minded professional eager to bring new ideas and modern practices Why Join
