Overview
Associate Director - Medical Science Liaison (GI/Thoracic) Rocky Mountain at Eli Lilly and Company. Responsibilities
Primary responsibilities include: Provide scientific and clinical knowledge to researchers and practitioners, addressing care gaps and clarifying nuanced clinical or research questions. Serve as a primary interface between Lilly Medical and SEs/CEs; deliver evidence-based information to support HCPs in improving patient outcomes. Collaborate with Lilly resources and internal partners; facilitate research opportunities and support studies and investigators to accelerate the pipeline and evidence generation. Plan and execute field activities with strategic territory management, including face-to-face and virtual engagement; develop and implement a territory plan aligned with company goals. Synthesize and communicate actionable customer and clinical insights to internal teams; escalate issues when appropriate and maintain professional networks across functions. Demonstrate judgment, adaptability to changing business needs, and compliance with internal and external requirements, laws, and guidelines. Minimum Qualification Requirements
Scientific / clinical acumen: Advanced degree in health sciences (e.g., PharmD, MD, PhD) required. A minimum of two years of relevant clinical or therapeutic area experience is desirable for MD/PhD/PharmD; Masters or bachelor-level degrees (e.g., BSN, RPh, PA, NP) may be considered with 5+ years of relevant experience. Digital proficiency: Comfortable with field-based tools and digital platforms to engage HCPs virtually (e.g., Zoom) and to support engagement planning.
