Project Engineer leads and coordinates the engineering design and evaluation processing during all phases of specific managed projects, from concept, through design to execution. Is the point of contact for client relations. Job Responsibilities
Supervise and lead project assignments with project staff. Manage and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation. Plan and conduct evaluation and site observation. Review project documents, specifications, and design options; ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews. Make recommendations based on findings. Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions. Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables. Build and develop internal and external relationships Requirements
4 + years licensed experience ABET-accredited degree in Engineering or Architectural Engineering Registered Professional Engineer required General Characteristics
Demonstrated practical knowledge of codes and related industry standards Production experience preparing deliverable drawing sets in Revit and AutoCAD required Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency using industry standard calculation software required Self-motivated team player with strong interpersonal, communication, writing, and presentation skills Ability to deal with competing priorities and manage time appropriately Salary range for this position varies between $70,000 – $100,000, depending upon applicable experience.
