The Senior Consultant HR Talent Acquisition is responsible for assisting with all facets of recruitment success throughout Fort Bend ISD. While providing an exceptional experience, the Sr. Consultant will play a critical role in the development of a strategic recruiting plan which employs both traditional sourcing strategies as well as developing new and creative recruiting ideas. Position Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and implement the recruitment strategy, ensuring alignment with District goals Participate in the tracking and use of key metrics to drive continuous improvement and to evaluate and update recruitment strategies in order to ultimately improve the quality of hire Work with internal teams and hiring managers to assist with district wide recruitment efforts Collaborate with hiring managers to identify upcoming staffing needs, trends and plan recruitment efforts Identify and source appropriate talent for current open roles within the District Provide recruitment guidance to hiring managers through the use of hiring and employment data Partner with hiring managers to gain understanding of business unit objectives and job requirements and develop a sourcing strategy to identify and attract the right talent Coordinate the talent selection process, to include screening and interviewing Assist with developing recruitment goals and strategize on attracting and retaining top talent Leverage a variety of sources to identify and engage potential talent and ensure on-going talent pipelines Assist in coordinating and implementing social media strategies for recruitment Take part in and manage on-going Talent Acquisition projects Assist with articulation of the Fort Bend ISD Experience Attend local, state, national job fairs, assisting with the hiring of talent Networks with local colleges, universities, employment agencies, industry associations, and alternative certification programs to build direct relationships and enhance recruiting efforts Participate in professional development to maintain current knowledge of HR practices Conduct intake sessions with internal customers to include a rigorous interview process to help identify top talent Review monthly turnover reports and assists organization leaders in identifying trending challenges while incorporating staff retention programs Review current hiring processes and practices to create standard operating procedures Coordinate and prepare for virtual and face-to-face interviews, trainings and meetings

Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Education, or related field Master's Degree preferred Professional in Human Resources (PHR/SHRM) Certification preferred Minimum of 3 years of experience in human resources leadership experience or educational leadership Comprehensive knowledge of human resources information management systems, including the ability to utilize databases to design and generate statistical and informational reports Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public and district staff and management Knowledge of the Districts human resources policies, procedures and practices Good organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Ability to supervise and guide the work of other Ability to be flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality Ability to prioritize, multi-task and work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines
