The Hawaii Sales Leader

will lead strategic relationships and business development efforts across water, transportation, and our developing buildings sector. You’ll have the opportunity to influence strategic relationships with key clients to ensure Jacobs remains the client’s firm-of-choice in Hawaii. You will also ensure Jacobs has a thorough understanding of clients’ needs and is seen as their best advocate for achieving their goals. In this role, you will lead select client accounts in Hawaii. You’ll collaborate with and lead our delivery teams to sustain existing workload, grow our pipeline, and lead strategy development for transformational contracts. You will need to collaborate with diverse internal teams, including sales staff, operations, market solutions technologists, legal, and contracting. Key Responsibilities Include Serving as the primary contact for client service and growth strategy Leading multidisciplinary client service teams with a shared vision of success Building deep, valuable relationships between Jacobs and client stakeholders Advocating on client needs and guiding strategic actions to grow market share Engaging executive sponsors and securing internal commitment Supporting hiring strategies, team development, and office growth Driving pursuit excellence through sales process discipline and proposal strategy Representing Jacobs in industry and community organizations to enhance our brand Ready to make a lasting impact in Hawaii? Here’s what you’ll need Bachelor’s degree in architecture, water or transportation engineering, environmental science, construction management, or related fields, or equivalent related work experience in lieu of a degree. 15 years of experience in architecture, engineering, construction management and/or related disciplines associated with the water and transportation market sectors. Proven record of coordinating teams and winning work throughout the State of Hawaii within the water or transportation markets. High-level existing contacts and strong relationships with major related clients, and a successful record of winning work with these clients. Sales knowledge on how to identify contracts well in advance, respond to RFPs/solicitations, interview, and win new work. Knowledge of and relationships with potential teaming partners, both large firms and small business partners, to advance our position in the market and develop the most responsive teams for our clients. Be a strong team leader, consensus builder, and team player skilled in technical writing, communicating, and presenting to clients. Established presence in the industry with a strong track record of community and political engagement, recognized as a trusted and influential figure in one or more of these sectors. Ideally, You Will Also Have Proven record of developing zippered relationships with key clients at all levels (from executives to key management and operations levels). A technical background/experience in delivering or managing water or transportation projects or programs Experience in the government buildings sector along with either water or transportation sector experience too. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
