$140,700.00/yr - $246,300.00/yr What you’ll do

We’re seeking a Hawaii Water Market Practice Leader to support delivering world-class water and wastewater services for municipal and private sector clients in Hawaii. Responsibilities include: Collaborate with Hawaii leadership, Northwest Water Market Growth Director, and Water Market Director of Operations to develop and implement a Hawaii water market growth strategy. Retain and build a team of engineers and planners to deliver challenging water and wastewater projects and to grow the Hawaii water team. Understand market trends and differentiate Jacobs technically from competitors; act as a conduit between Global Market Solutions Leaders, Northwest Sales Leaders, and Operations (delivery) leadership and practice staff in the Water Business Unit. Lead and support business development activities with key clients, resulting in acquisition of new projects. Serve as Project Manager supporting various projects and programs within a defined client portfolio; lead project teams through planning, execution, and closeout to meet scope, schedule, and budget. Act as Project Manager and Technical Lead on projects with high technical complexity from concept through detailed design, construction services, and commissioning (e.g., pipelines, pump stations, water and wastewater treatment facilities, and water resources infrastructure). Mentor and coach engineers and designers; develop relationships to identify new opportunities for Jacobs in Hawaii. Lead and mentor staff, build long-term client relationships, and pursue new work including strategy development, positioning, proposing, and negotiating contracts. Collaborate globally to maximize design, digital technology, and delivery capabilities with our Global Integrated Delivery teams. Contribute to Jacobs’ culture and client delivery through hybrid work arrangements and cross-team collaboration. What we’ll expect you to bring

Required qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering At least 10 years of direct experience managing project teams Professional Engineer (P.E.) license in Hawaii or ability to obtain within 6 months Proven experience in planning and designing projects of varying size Preferred qualifications: Experience managing teams of design, scientific, and technology professionals Strong network with local municipalities, private utilities, and other water/wastewater and water resources clients in Hawaii Active involvement in a professional organization Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering Compensation and benefits

The base salary range for this position is $140,700.00 to $246,300.00. Within the range, pay is determined by location and factors including job-related skills, experience, and education or training. Jacobs offers comprehensive health and welfare benefits, 401(k) with company stock purchase, and possible additional compensation such as merit increases, performance discretionary bonus, and stock.
