.**About the Opportunity****JOB SUMMARY**The Prospect Management Analyst coordinates and manages several projects and programs designed to augment and enhance the level of information on prospect activity for the Advancement function. First and foremost is ensuring that current complete and appropriate prospect information is available to university fundraisers.*\*\*NOTE: THIS IS A TEMPORARY 6 MONTH ASSIGNMENT, WITH THE POSSIBILITY TO EXTEND***MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS**Excellent computer-related, analytical, organizational, communication (verbal and written), and customer service skills. Ability to work with a minimum of supervision and ability to assume a leadership role as necessary. Comfort level in meeting with fundraisers and staff either in person or virtually.

Must have demonstrated knowledge of research techniques and tools. Familiarity with purpose and function of all aspects of Development preferred.

Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) and a minimum of two years of Development experience.**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES**1) Prospect Management* Conduct regular portfolio reviews with fundraisers.* Responsible for data management for prospect universe including the recording of actions, next moves, opportunities, solicitations, and other key information to ensure accurate and timely data management on the progression of activity on major leadership and principal gift prospects.* Coordinate prospect assignment process.* Train Advancement members on prospect management policies and procedures.* Manage prospect strategy and prospect assignment activities.* Develop and manage procedures, recommend policies regarding prospect tracking, data entry, training of staff, and conducting troubleshooting.* Responsible for quality assurance of data in tracking and building a level of comfort and understanding by the staff on prospect management.* Assist in revision of Prospect Management Guidelines.* Ongoing maintenance and tracking of management assignments, prospect stages, opportunities, etc.* Establish and direct ongoing reporting generated by the prospect management staff as well as automated reporting available to Development officers.2) Project-based Prospect Development efforts* Project support for Identification and Prospect Research programs.* Ensure findings in Salesforce are accurately coded, tracked, and communicated.* Timely review of all assigned reading materials.**Position Type**Temporary**Additional Information**Northeastern University considers factors such as candidate work experience, education and skills when extending an offer.Northeastern has a comprehensive benefits package for benefit eligible employees.
