You will lead engagement efforts to convert skeptics into advocates and build a scalable advocacy network across campuses. What You Will Be Doing
Delivering persuasive presentations and engaging in discussions that turn skeptics into advocates Developing and empowering a network of influential parent champions to promote our vision within their communities Creating scalable systems that transform individual parent experiences into evidence and advocacy opportunities Implementing sophisticated feedback systems to capture early parent sentiment and turn potential challenges into advocacy opportunities Managing key media interactions and crafting compelling public narratives about our innovative educational approach Identifying and leveraging strategic moments to highlight our revolutionary impact What You Won’t Be Doing
Coordinating traditional parent-teacher associations or school committees Organizing social events without strategic advocacy objectives Compromising our educational model to appease influential parents Merely reacting to concerns without proactively shaping the narrative Director Of Parent Engagement Key Responsibilities
Your mission is to convert our parent community into our strongest advocacy force. Establish systematic approaches that scale parent champions across all campuses, while upholding our commitment to educational excellence. Basic Requirements
Reside in or be willing to relocate to Austin, TX A minimum of 7 years' experience in converting influential stakeholders or skeptics into advocates, in roles such as Customer Advocacy, Communications, Development, Enterprise Sales, Community Relations, or Change Management Strong executive presence with the ability to engage sophisticated audiences Proven track record in high-stakes communications, including media appearances, board presentations, and crisis management Experience in building and expanding advocacy communities from the ground up Ability to enforce policies with influential stakeholders while maintaining relationships and adhering to standards Belief in innovative methods to transform education About 2 Hour Learning

Working with us: This is a full-time (40 hours per week), long-term position. The role is an independent contractor agreement with Crossover as Contractor of Record.
