A global, AmLaw 50 law firm is seeking an experienced Senior Litigation Paralegal to join the firms Silicon Valley (Redwood City) office. Paralegal will be supporting the Securities Litigation team with providing comprehensive support of the litigation process. This position offers a hybrid arragement (4 days onsite / 1 day remote).
Responsibilities
Conduct legal and factual research, comprehensive cite-checking, and meticulous proofreading of briefs and other legal documents using resources such as the Bluebook, PACER, Bloomberg Law, Relativity, EDGAR, LexisNexis, and Westlaw. Draft and prepare legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests, for attorney review and approval with precision. Support deposition and trial preparation by preparing deposition summaries, organizing exhibits, and coordinating with court reporters. Perform additional responsibilities as assigned. Qualifications
Bachelors Degree or paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program. Minimum of 6 years of experience as a paralegal in California, ideally in the securities litigation department of a large firm. Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills. Strong research skills using various legal resources. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines. Experience with document management software, Google WorkSpace, and Microsoft Office. The compensation range for this position is $130,000-$150,000. Additional benefits include medical, dental and vision plans; wellness stipend, parking or transit benefits, 20 PTO days, 6 sick days, and 2 floating holidays.
