The Dallas, TX office of Lewis Brisbois, a full-service AmLaw 100 firm, is actively seeking an attorney to join its Labor & Employment Practice. The ideal candidate will be admitted to practice in Texas and have at least eight (8) years of experience in employment law matters. Prior employment litigation experience is required (preferably on the management side), and employment counseling or in-house employment law experience is preferred. This role involves extensive contact with clients, governmental agencies and opposing counsel. Responsibilities
Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings. Draft and argue motions, and take and defend depositions. Provide high-quality legal service within a sophisticated practice and contribute to all aspects of labor and employment law. Demonstrate strong writing and analytical skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment. Work independently as a self-starter and as part of a team. Qualifications
Admitted to practice in Texas. At least eight (8) years of experience in employment law matters. Prior employment litigation experience required (preferably on the management side).
