The Varsity Tutors Live Learning Platform has thousands of students looking for online HESI tutors nationally. As a tutor on the Varsity Tutors Platform, you’ll have the flexibility to set your own schedule, earn competitive rates, and make a real impact on students’ learning journeys—all from the comfort of your home. Responsibilities
Provide 1-on-1 online tutoring to HESI students. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our Live Learning Platform—no commuting required. Be matched with students best-suited to your teaching style and expertise. Utilize the AI-powered Tutor Copilot to enhance sessions with real-time instructional support, lesson generation, and engagement features to save prep time and focus on teaching. Handle tutoring logistics when applicable; note that our team supports payments and other administrative tasks. Qualifications
Strong communication skills and a friendly, engaging teaching style. Expertise in HESI and the ability to explain concepts clearly. Ability to personalize lessons and adapt to different learning styles. Priority given to those with tutoring or teaching experience and graduate-level education. Compensation & Benefits
Base contract rates start at $18/hour and can increase for specialized subjects; pay can reach up to $40/hour with continued engagement. Get paid up to twice per week. Set your own hours and tutor as much as you’d like. Tutor remotely using our platform; no commuting required. We handle logistics and payments; you invoice for sessions. About Varsity Tutors
