Senior eDiscovery Technical Advisor (Top Secret Clearance Required). CGS Federal (Contact Government Services) is seeking a dedicated Senior eDiscovery Technical Advisor to join a fast-paced team to assist with legal accounts. As an eDiscovery Technical Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting various aspects of the company\'s portfolio and provide expertise in identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing electronic stored information (ESI) in legal contexts. Base pay range: $176,400.00/yr - $254,800.00/yr Pay range information is provided by CGS Federal. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience; discuss with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Identify, preserve, collect, process, and produce ESI in support of civil and criminal litigation, select FOIA requests, Congressional requests, and other inquiries. Provide criminal discovery support, including identifying, preserving, collecting, processing, and producing ESI. Serve as the expert technical user of electronic discovery applications (e.g., Enterprise Vault, Discovery Accelerator, Legal Hold Management Tool (LHMT), Veritas eDiscovery Platform). Collaborate with the litigation team to develop discovery plans detailing search parameters (date range, keywords, custodians) for cases. Collect data from FBI storage locations on FBI IT systems (e.g., MS-Exchange servers, shared drives, desktops, text/instant messages) in accordance with discovery plans to support appropriate legal personnel. Analyze search/collection results to identify data gaps. Administer data inputs into electronic discovery review platforms (e.g., creating cases, adding source data, managing access, logging data, de-duplicating data, merging/verifying data, and ensuring quality of Bates numbering and load files. Coordinate discovery collection results with FBI units responsible for processing, review, redaction, and release. Adhere to policies and procedures for electronic discovery software and provide training/technical assistance to agency attorneys, paralegals, and other users. Advise on the FBI\'s process for identifying, preserving, collecting, analyzing, and organizing ESI, including use of eDiscovery software. Provide ad hoc support to end users of the electronic discovery platform repository. Document electronic discovery plans and procedures for each case. Facilitate requests for legal hold implementation, amendment, or lift submitted by various requesters in LHMT. Provide eDiscovery collections on criminal cases. Qualifications
5 years of eDiscovery/litigation support experience with a focus on client solutions. 3 years of progressively more responsible experience on major litigation support projects. 2 years in Relativity beyond document review coding. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills with both eDiscovery technical teams and non-technical stakeholders. Ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment. Experience with eDiscovery services covering all realms of the EDRM (File to Trial). U.S. Citizen; ability to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (active clearance preferred). BS/BA degree or equivalent work experience (JD highly preferred). Our Commitment / Benefits
