Overview

The New Businesses team is leading the creation of new, standalone products at CNN, focusing on the creation of separate, non-news experiences that can help enrich our users’ lives and drive the subscription business. The ideal candidate will be an innovative and strategic Senior Product Manager with experience delivering 0-1, cross-platform, direct-to-consumer products in a fast-paced environment. As a Senior Product Manager for New Business, you will lead product on a cross-functional team, shipping new features within a product space. You will partner with design, engineering, and editorial leads to prioritize delivery of full product experiences on time. You will manage the trade-off process during requirement definition and reviews to ensure releases are delivered against company business goals. Your role includes partnering with stakeholders to define the Product roadmap, translating business needs and user insights into clear, prioritized, and actionable product requirements, and leading team ceremonies to facilitate delivery. This role requires strong collaboration, data-driven decision making, and the ability to navigate a matrixed organization while driving on-time deliveries. Partner with stakeholders (research, design, technology, content, senior leadership) to define the Product roadmap, aligning with user needs, value propositions, and market opportunities Translate business needs and user insights into clear, prioritized and actionable product requirements Lead team ceremonies, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and other touchpoints Produce high-quality product artifacts that communicate across multiple functions and levels Define key performance indicators and use data to make informed Product and Business decisions Ensure on-time deliveries and articulate risks and trade-offs Be proactive in partnering with teams across the organization to drive delivery Qualifications & Experience

5+ years of digital product management/development experience; media organization familiarity a plus Record of evidence-based decisions, creativity in identifying value, and strong judgement about what’s worth doing High emotional intelligence and practiced collaboration skills Comfort with ambiguity and ability to align the team towards action Ability to build consensus within a complex, matrixed organization Passion for users’ needs with experience using qualitative and quantitative data to develop product strategy, drive decisions, and validate impact Experience with the full product lifecycle from concept to launch and post-launch optimizations Understanding of subscription business and operations Strong work ethic and integrity Compensation

Base pay range: $117,600.00/yr - $218,400.00/yr. This is one component of Warner Bros. Discovery’s total compensation package, which may include bonuses and other incentives. Actual salaries vary based on location, market data, experience, and performance. Beneficiaries include health insurance, retirement savings, paid holidays, and more as part of the overall package.
