Senior Software Architect - Wireline Networks
Base pay range: $75.00/hr - $86.00/hr Kforce has a client in Greenwood Village, CO seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Architect to support initiatives within their Wireline Networks group. This role focuses on designing and delivering advanced software systems, with potential involvement in the development of machine learning algorithms to enhance network performance and reliability. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software architecture, preferably with hands-on experience in C++, and a solid understanding of RF systems and networking technologies. Responsibilities
Translate business and technical requirements into scalable, robust software architecture Create high-level architectural designs, ensuring system feasibility, performance, and seamless integration with existing platforms Collaborate across teams to ensure consistency and alignment with enterprise architecture standards Approve business requirements, estimations, functional specs, and test strategies for architectural compliance Identify and implement opportunities to apply architecture standards and reusable frameworks Support the development and integration of ML algorithms for network optimization and predictive analytics Oversee full software lifecycle from concept through deployment, maintaining a strategic technology focus Provide cross-application impact analysis and architectural guidance Requirements
Level IV: Minimum 10+ years of experience in software architecture or application design Level III: Minimum 6-10 years of experience designing or configuring software applications Proficiency in C++ (preferred); other programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, Go) also considered Strong understanding of RF systems, wireless communications, or signal processing Experience in system integration, platform interoperability, and architectural governance Familiarity with Agile methodologies and modern development tools Preferred Skills
Background in telecommunications, network engineering, or wireline technologies Experience with machine learning or AI models applied to network systems Experience with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams Benefits & Other Information
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. This range may be modified in the future. Employee pay is based on factors like education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs.
