Role: Quantitative Developer / Analysis — W2 Role (Contract) – Jersey City, NJ, 5 days onsite Position focuses on applying quantitative development and analysis techniques to support risk, valuation, and portfolio analytics within a contract arrangement. Responsibilities

Tools and Technologies: Utilize simulation software and engineering tools for analysis and evaluation of performance and stability of products and systems. CAD/CAE: Apply computer-aided design/engineering tools for modeling and analysis as needed. Programming: Use programming skills (e.g., Python, Java, SQL) to script and automate calculations, build analytics, and support risk/calc engines. Analytics in risk/calc engine: Implement analytics to generate valuation, return, and first-order risk measures. Financial/product understanding: Maintain knowledge of equity and fixed income products, exchange-traded derivatives, portfolio analysis, fund accounting, and NAV calculation. Role-specific context: The position aligns with a Calculation Engineer/Simulation Engineer remit, using computational methods to analyze and optimize performance and ensure designs meet requirements. Reporting and collaboration: Produce clear analyses and collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply simulations to practical applications. Qualifications

Education: Degree in Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics Knowledge: Linear algebra, statistics, and time-series analysis Technical: Proficient in Python, Java, SQL Experience: Implementing analytics in risk/calculation engines to generate valuation, return, and first-order risk measures Industry understanding: Good understanding of equity and fixed income products, exchange-traded derivatives, portfolio analysis, fund accounting, and NAV calculation Location
