Location: This is a remote position. You can work from home and be located anywhere in the United States.
What you will do
Develop an effective pipeline of sales opportunities through qualification of leads generated from marketing campaigns and outbound prospecting, ensuring they meet pre-determined customer criteria.
Prospect and engage with prospective customers through targeted outreach using multiple channels including phone, email, social media, and networking events.
Foster and maintain excellent working relationships with the broader sales and marketing teams, align strategies, and share insights on targeting priority accounts to optimize lead generation and progression through the sales pipeline.
Manage and coordinate leads through the qualification process, including discovery of opportunity, and work with Account Executives to confirm qualification criteria.
Engage with prospects, lead the first sales meeting, understand their pain points, challenges, and goals, and position Kinaxis products and solutions to address their needs.
Provide ongoing market feedback to refine positioning and improve outbound strategies.
Maintain a healthy pipeline by accurately tracking all interactions, follow-ups, and progress with leads in relevant databases.
Source new contacts using external data sources such as ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Participate in local trade shows and training, staying informed about industry trends and market dynamics to identify opportunities for business development.
Understand Kinaxis’ differentiated value proposition to educate and generate demand from qualified prospects.
What we are looking for
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
5 years of proven business-to-business experience as a qualified business/market/sales development professional.
Knowledge of marketing, sales, and business processes in a similar industry.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
Collaborative mindset with ability to influence and gain support from internal and external stakeholders.
Effective time management and organizational skills with a proactive, goal-oriented mindset.
Advanced computer skills, including Microsoft Office; Salesforce and Eloqua are a plus.
Professional verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
Valid passport and ability to travel up to 20%.
Work is remote and supports global teams in North America, Europe, and Asia.
