Business Development Analyst - Life Sciences Group

We are looking for a passionate Business Development Analyst for our Life Sciences group. In this fast-paced role, you will be a key player in driving business development and marketing initiatives for our East-Coast life science practices. This position offers exciting opportunities to engage with a variety of professionals and make a significant impact. Key Responsibilities: Drive marketing and business development initiatives across the East Coast life science practice groups. Build strong relationships and become a trusted advisor to partners, counsel, and associates. Collaborate with partners and business development colleagues to plan and execute strategic initiatives. Develop expertise in market position, client base, and attorney specialties within our practices. Conduct thorough research and analysis on markets and clients to support business development efforts. Assist in client-targeting initiatives and cross-selling efforts with attorneys. Create compelling marketing collateral, including tailored pitch materials and deal sheets. Analyze internal financial data, market trends, and competitor insights to inform strategies. Curate attorney experiences for pitches, awards, and other opportunities. Support pitch tracking and reporting using our CRM system. Help plan and execute client events, sponsorships, and speaking engagements. Develop and produce internal newsletters and other communication materials. Collaborate with various internal departments on cross-departmental projects. Desired Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred. 3+ years of experience in a related field, ideally in a law firm or service-based organization. Experience in supporting business development activities. Strong commitment to client service excellence and teamwork. Exceptional ethical standards and professionalism. Able to thrive under pressure and manage tight deadlines. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Detail-oriented with strong proofreading and fact-checking abilities. Proficiency in PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and database applications. Quick learner with new systems and software. Able to work independently and collaboratively with a diverse team. Self-motivated with a positive attitude. Exceptional online research skills and a keen interest in technology and life sciences. The primary location for this job is in Boston, but it may be listed in other locations. The base pay offered will depend on various factors including qualifications and experience. The anticipated pay range is as follows: San Francisco and Silicon Valley: $81,600 - $110,400 per year Austin, Boston, Boulder, District of Columbia, Los Angeles, New York, San Diego, Seattle, and Wilmington: $73,100 - $98,900 per year Salt Lake City and other locations: $65,450 - $88,550 per year This position may include a discretionary year-end merit bonus based on performance.
