Advanced Resources is seeking a Payroll Manager with strong experience in Ceridian Dayforce. The successful candidate will have a true passion for payroll, an eye for impeccable detail, and a collaborative communication style. Non-negotiable 3 days in the office, with an occasional flex to 4 days in office. Please do not apply if you are seeking a fully remote role. POSITION PURPOSE: The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing all payroll process operations, payroll account reconciliations, and Travel and Expenses for all US-based employees. This position interfaces between finance and HR to provide accurate and useful information, develops and produces payroll-related statistical reports, and ensures accurate and on-time governmental reporting and compliance. DUTIES, TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Payroll Process weekly and semi-monthly payroll, including bonus and incentive payroll. Perform payroll system maintenance and updates. Perform adjustments to payroll, such as garnishments, deductions, wage assignments, vacation, etc. Review Time and Attendance information for completeness and accuracy. Administer tax liabilities and requirements in compliance with all State and Federal laws and regulations. Ensure completion and maintenance of required records, filings, and reports related to payroll. Complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly reports and filings. Lead person for internal or external audits of payroll records, systems, and procedures, including 401k audits, Workers Compensation audits, and renewals. Serve as a technical resource to HR and other departments to address and resolve employee payroll-related inquiries and problems. Provide accurate, meaningful, and timely analysis of payroll information. Establish and maintain payroll policies and processes. Make recommendations for changes as appropriate. Provide guidance on global payroll procedures; collaborate with outside payroll companies to ensure success on a global scale. Interpret and apply company policies, guidelines, and regulations to ensure compliance. Stay current on payroll-related laws, policies, and regulations through online resources and seminars. Partner with Finance and manage journal entries related to payroll and T&E, including SAP entries and payroll account reconciliations. Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Bachelors degree in Business Management, Accounting, Human Resource Management or related field; equivalent experience considered. 10+ years experience in processing multi-state payroll; benefits administration experience is a plus. Experience with SAP and Dayforce required. Strong time management and prioritization skills, ability to manage multiple activities. Proficiency in spreadsheets (MS Excel) and calculations. Knowledge of accounting principles and payroll regulations. Ability to analyze payroll data, interpret regulations, and prepare reports. Experience with HRIS and payroll systems, specifically Dayforce and ADP. Effective communication skills, both written and oral. Self-starter with a solutions-oriented attitude and attention to detail. Additional Information:
