ABOUT THE ROLE

Amrize, a leading supplier of quality construction building materials in the United States, is seeking a dedicated Night Shift Maintenance Mechanic to join our team at the Millville Quarry in Millville, WV. In this vital role, you will ensure our operations run smoothly by maintaining and repairing essential machinery. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct routine preventive maintenance on crushers, conveyors, screens, and other quarry equipment during overnight hours. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with plant machinery and systems. Inspect equipment regularly to identify potential failures or safety hazards. Perform welding, fabrication, and structural repairs as needed. Lubricate equipment and replace filters, belts, bearings, and other parts per maintenance schedules. Maintain accurate logs of all repairs and inspections conducted during your shift. Safely operate forklifts, man lifts, and various equipment to reach and service machinery. Respond swiftly to emergency breakdowns to minimize production downtime. Ensure compliance with MSHA regulations and company safety policies. Effectively communicate shift activities, equipment concerns, and required actions to day-shift personnel and supervisors. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR Education:

High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred Field of Study:

Millwright, Industrial Mechanics, or Heavy Equipment Maintenance. Required Experience:

A minimum of 3 years experience in maintenance within a plant or industrial setting. Skills:

Mechanical aptitude with knowledge in heavy equipment maintenance (e.g., crushers, conveyors). Basic electrical knowledge, capable of troubleshooting motors, switches, and control panels. Welding and fabrication skills for equipment repairs and modifications. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals. Proficient in hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong understanding of preventive and predictive maintenance practices. Capability to identify mechanical issues quickly and take corrective action with minimal supervision. Familiarity with MSHA safety regulations. Comfortable working in outdoor, dusty, or noisy environments. Physically capable of lifting heavy parts and working at heights. Ability to work Monday through Friday and occasional Saturdays. Must pass a 7-year criminal background check, including both felonies and misdemeanors.
