Arch Mortgage Insurance Company (Arch MI) is seeking a Director, Secondary Markets for Arch Mortgage Funding (AMF) to lead people and projects in executing AMF's secondary market activities. Responsibilities include developing pricing tools, evaluating hedging strategies to mitigate interest rate risk, coordinating loan fundings, evaluating loan disposition strategies, and building tools to evaluate loan performance against pricing assumptions. Responsibilities

Lead and develop AMF’s pricing initiatives, including assessment of modeling assumptions (credit spreads, structures, LLPAs) and comparison of loan performance assumptions against actual results; deliver AMF pricing to customers and oversee the lock desk. Evaluate and execute exit strategies for AMF’s aggregated loans, including whole loan sales and securitization; work with leadership to develop take-out buyers, review securitization documents, and negotiate financing agreements as needed. Recommend and implement portfolio management strategies to hedge pricing and interest rate risks across AMF’s pipeline, closed loans, and retained bond positions. Maintain daily evaluation of AMF’s position comprising NQM mortgage loans, a locked loan pipeline, hedging positions, and a retained bond portfolio. Coordinate with AMF management to design reports assessing performance and effectiveness of the secondary markets strategy and objectives. Direct the design and creation of tools to track market performance and evaluate market moves on AMF’s positions. Establish relationships with platform vendors (fulfillment, servicing, master servicing, bond administration, ratings agencies, custodian, hedge advisor, trustee) to meet secondary market goals. Investor relations: serve as primary liaison to non-agency investors, manage pricing and performance feedback; represent the company in investor due diligence, capital markets meetings, and client onboarding; provide market intelligence and product education to clients and internal stakeholders. Direct the work of the senior analyst to monitor portfolio performance and address seller concerns, ensuring compliance with AMF’s risk tolerance and taking corrective action as required. Required Knowledge & Skills

3-5 years direct experience in mortgage and secondary markets, including familiarity with private label RMBS deal structures, cash flow modeling, and related bond math. Proficiency with capital markets platforms (e.g., MCT, Bloomberg, Intex, Yield Book). Desired Knowledge & Skills

Basic familiarity with contract finance as it pertains to Mortgage Loan Purchase Agreements, warehouse financing/repo agreements, and securitization deal documents. Experience with private-label securitizations and whole loan trading, particularly related to NQM and DSCR mortgage transactions. Required Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, finance, economics or relevant market experience. Desired Education & Experience

Master’s degree preferred (or pursuit of advanced finance education such as CFA) or relevant market experience. For this position, the base salary range is provided; range is as of the time of posting and position is incentive eligible. Location notes: For NC: $175,000 - $199,000/year; For NJ: total compensation will consider location, scope, responsibilities, qualifications, talent availability and business needs. The pay range may be modified in the future.
