EY’s Oracle Services practice assists with planning, pursuing, delivering and managing large, complex full lifecycle application implementations, leveraging Oracle SaaS and PaaS capabilities. Your Opportunity As a Manager in Application Systems Engineering, you will be at the forefront of defining user and customer requirements, focusing on user interface development across diverse platforms, and engineering software components and services to ensure seamless communication within the system architecture. Your Key Responsibilities
Manage and deliver high-quality processes, solutions, or projects with a strong focus on quality, risk management, and continuous improvement. Innovate through research and benchmarking best practices; manage professional employees and supervisory responsibilities to meet performance objectives. Lead client sessions and guide workstreams from planning to execution. Ensure billability through chargeable work to external clients and identify additional service opportunities to drive sales. Lead specific RFP responses and manage engagement economics. Execute resource planning within budget constraints and oversee project status and deliverable completion. Travel as required by client engagements. Skills And Attributes For Success
Blend technical prowess with business acumen; manage complex problems and lead teams effectively. Architect technology solutions focusing on data flow, data migration and data integration across multi-vendor landscapes. Develop people by delegating work, conducting performance reviews, and providing feedback and training. Generate new business opportunities by understanding EY services and applying knowledge accordingly; develop long-term internal and external relationships. Lead and supervise a technology team through all phases of the lifecycle (requirements, architecture, conversion, testing). Effective communication with supply chain and technology executives; experience with Agile methodologies; application integration and QA; software development lifecycle and requirements analysis. Strong relationship management, negotiation skills, and digital fluency; comfort with researching client inquiries and emerging technologies. Willingness to travel 60-80% of a work schedule. To qualify for the role, you must have
A 4-year bachelor’s degree with 4-6 years of relevant experience. 4-6 years of SCM/ERP application implementations experience as a Technical Lead or related role, with at least 2 years in a managerial/IT-business integration capacity. 2-3 full-cycle implementations of Oracle SCM Cloud and 3-4 Oracle EBS modules (Order Management, Pricing, Inventory, PIM, Procurement, Manufacturing). 2-3 years hands-on experience with FBDI, OTBI, REST and SOAP. Proven track record in integration tools/technologies (Oracle Integration Cloud, MuleSoft, Dell Boomi or equivalent). Demonstrated use of Oracle methodologies (OUM or AIM). Strong written/verbal communication, client service and technical writing skills; interest in integrating enterprise processes with technology. Ability to research client inquiries and emerging technologies including SOA governance. Willingness to travel 60-80% of a work schedule. Ideally, you’ll also have
Degree in Computer Science, IT, Computer Engineering, MIS, Mathematics, or related field (MBA or MS preferred).
