Position Overview: The Senior Accountant will support the company's financial reporting and accounting functions. This role will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial records, supporting month-end close processes, and assisting with financial analysis. This position will report to the Manager of Accounting and collaborate with various departments to support the company's financial objectives. Key Responsibilities: ● Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reports. ● Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes. ● Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. ● Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and regulatory requirements. ● Assist in audits by preparing schedules and supporting documentation. ● Perform variance analysis and provide insights to management. ● Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and efficiencies. ● Support tax compliance efforts, including data preparation for filings. ● Assist with special projects and initiatives as assigned. Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CPA candidate preferred). ● Minimum of 3 years of progressive accounting experience. ● Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting practices. ● Experience with accounting software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel. ● Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. ● Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. ● Experience in the hospitality, real estate, or vacation ownership industry is a plus.
