Job Purpose Under general supervision, provides routine office support, such as sorting and distributing mail, answering phones, and directing visitors.

Essential Job Duties Receives and directs incoming telephone calls. Answers inquiries and provides routine information to the public. Receives and directs visitors, and may serve as receptionist. Receives, sorts, and delivers intra- and inter-office communications, packages, and other materials. Performs routine filing of documents according to established office procedures. Operates office machinery, such as mimeograph machines, photocopiers, and fax machines. Examples of Other Duties Receives and issues office supplies. Performs occasional light typing or word processing. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Required Qualifications Completion of 10th grade.

Experience as described in the essential duties may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required education.

Preferred Qualifications Possession of a valid license equivalent to a non-provisional, non-commercial, class C Maryland driver's license.
