The Night Auditor is responsible for balancing and reconciling the day's financial transactions, ensuring accuracy of guest accounts, and providing attentive service during overnight shifts. This role requires excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work independently overnight while also responding to guest needs. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform nightly audits of hotel accounts and reconcile daily revenue. Prepare and distribute daily reports to management. Verify and balance all postings and charges for accuracy. Handle guest check-ins, check-outs, reservations, and inquiries during overnight hours. Monitor property security and safety during the shift. Respond to guest requests and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner. Follow all CordeValle policies, procedures, and service standards. Requirements
Previous experience in accounting, hospitality, or night audit preferred. Strong computer skills; knowledge of property management systems a plus. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed. Must be at least 18 years of age. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods. Occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Perform repetitive motions including typing and data entry.
