Department-Specific Responsibilities

Engage with a diverse range of customers daily, serving as the initial point of contact for addressing parking and transportation inquiries or concerns through in-person, phone, or email interactions, while contributing to the improvement of customer service processes and policies Process revenue activities using various payment methods Assist customers with citation-related questions, including the appeals process, and address general inquiries about campus shuttle routes Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, ensure timely follow-up and resolution of issues, and collaborate with other departments using critical thinking to quickly problem solve and address complex concerns General Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and responding to customer inquiries and complaints regarding the organization's products or services Resolve employee questions and problems accurately by researching policies and programs; provide answers to questions and resolutions to problems Build and maintain business relationships with a variety of customers, including current and prospective students, parents, employees and dependents, departmental representatives, and other stakeholders, to promote customer loyalty and provide information about university programs and services Redirect moderately complex questions and issues to higher-level appointed staff and/or leaders Ensure timely and accurate processing of information consistent with university policies Update and maintain basic information into databases Maintain high standards of confidentiality of all records and documents Qualifications

Combinations of related education and experience may be considered. Education beyond the minimum required may be substituted for work experience. Work experience beyond the minimum required may be substituted for education.

Expertise in parking permit permissions and rates Working Conditions / Demands

This role requires the ability to effectively communicate and to operate a computer and other standard office productivity equipment. The position involves sedentary work as well as periods of time moving around an office environment and the campus. The person in this role must be able to perform the essential functions with or without an accommodation.
