Air Export Coordinator

Altius Talent | Freight Forwarding Recruitment is recruiting for an Air Export Coordinator on behalf of a trusted freight forwarder. This role is for a detail-oriented logistics professional who can ensure air shipments move seamlessly from booking to final delivery. What Youll Do Coordinate the end-to-end air export process including booking, routing, documentation, labelling, and compliance checks. Prepare and review commercial invoices, packing lists, air waybills, and other export documentation for accuracy. Communicate daily with airlines, clients, and overseas partners to confirm schedules and resolve any shipment issues. Monitor cargo status, provide timely updates to clients, and ensure shipments meet export control and TSA security requirements. Maintain accurate records and support continuous improvement of export processes.

What Youll Bring

2+ years of experience in air freight forwarding/export operations (experience with international markets a plus). Working knowledge of export documentation, AES filings, Incoterms, and TSA/CBP security regulations. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple shipments under tight deadlines. Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with airlines, clients, and global partners. Familiarity with systems such as Cargo Wise, Descartes, or similar freight forwarding platforms is highly desirable.

Compensation
