Occupational Summary (Position Objective & Authorities): Objective: Drive activities required to meet cost, quality, inventory, delivery and cycle time objectives throughout the supply chain value stream. Measure suppliers, collaborate to develop process and product improvement plans, and enforce action measures as necessary to achieve business objectives. Works under regular supervision on moderately complex tasks. Qualifications

Education & Qualification: Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in Manufacturing engineering, Industrial engineering or related technical field or 12 years equivalent related experience in lieu of degree. Work Experience: Two (2) years of related experience in a quality role. Knowledge of the Plan for Every Part process. Working knowledge of FAA regulations pertaining to supplier OEM process and products. Experience in implementation of continuous improvement systems and RCCA. Must be able to read and interpret average to moderately complex blueprints, drawings, diagrams, tolerance information, route sheets, work orders and procedure manuals. Knowledge of AS9100 requirements. Professional Skills: Must have the ability to generate written communication and to operate required office equipment. Ability to read and review written communication. Speech and hearing abilities that allow individual to communicate clearly and distinctly in English. Ability to solve moderately complex problems and think strategically. Perform work under direct supervision. Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. Must be able to work cross functionally. Behavioral Skills: Ability to take initiative, accept responsibility, adaptability-flexibility, work under pressure, autonomy, creativity and leadership. Acts in accordance with company values and related competencies. Desirable Aspects: Six Sigma or Lean fundamentals, or Green Belt certification, preferred.
