The Junior Applications Engineer will support the Applications Engineering team in the design, specification, and execution of custom-engineered systems. The role involves interpreting customer requirements, preparing technical documentation, assisting in proposal development, and ensuring seamless project transitions from sales to execution. This is an entry-level position ideal for candidates seeking experience in process design and engineered systems within an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
Prepares supplier requisitions based on customer specifications Reads customer specifications related to process, mechanical, electrical and instrumentation Works under the direction of Sales Manager Ensures bid package is prepared to meet customer's requirements in a technically efficient and commercially viable manner Works closely with Project Engineers & Project Managers to ensure a seamless handover of sales orders Attends Kick-off and design review meetings with project team Assists Sales Manager with preparation of proposals Qualifications
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering is preferable Ability to prepare quotations based on process data and customer specifications Ability to read P&IDs and other technical documents Strong verbal and written communication skills Self-motivated and eager to learn within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment Seniority level
