Portfolio Accountant
to join its Investor Accounting team. This role offers excellent exposure to all areas of real estate investment accounting while working closely with senior leadership and multiple departments. Location:
Boston, MA | Investor Accounting Compensation:
$90K–$110K base + bonus | Hybrid: 3 days/week in office What You’ll Do
Review monthly financial reports from third-party property managers to ensure compliance with accounting standards Monitor property performance, cash flows, capital transactions, receivables, and NOI fluctuations Conduct audits (lease administration, tax, expense, recovery income) and share results with Asset Managers Support quarterly and annual financial closes, preparing statements, debt covenants, reports, and investor deliverables Collaborate with auditors, tax teams, consultants, and lenders Handle fund-level accounting tasks including bank reconciliations, wire/draw requests, acquisition/disposition entries, and management fees What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (strongly preferred) 2–4 years of accounting experience (public accounting and fund or real estate experience a plus) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Yardi familiarity a plus Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills How to Apply
