Location: Hybrid – New York City Company: VB Spine LLC Employment Type: Full-Time VB Spine is seeking one or more talented junior to mid-level Legal Counsel to join its expanding legal department. This is a unique opportunity to work alongside highly accomplished attorneys and contribute meaningfully to a wide range of commercial and corporate matters. You’ll be part of a small, high-performing legal team in a hybrid role based in New York City combining in-person collaboration and mentorship with flexibility and autonomy with room to take on increasing responsibility as the company grows. Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements, including vendor, customer, service, distribution, and confidentiality contracts. Provide day-to-day legal support across general corporate matters, governance, compliance, and contract management. Collaborate cross-functionally with business teams, including sales, operations, marketing, and finance to align legal risk with business goals. Help improve legal workflows, templates, and internal processes as the legal function continues to scale. Manage and coordinate with outside counsel on specialized matters as needed. Qualifications

J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials. Licensed to practice law and in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction. 2–6 years of legal experience, ideally with at least 1–2 years at a nationally recognized law firm. Strong experience in commercial contracts and general corporate legal matters. Excellent communication, judgment, and organizational skills. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities. A proactive, collaborative mindset and a desire to learn from and contribute to a strong legal team. Pay for this role is competitive and based on experience, qualifications, and market conditions. The typical pay range for this position is $180,000 – $250,000 annually, with potential for performance-based bonuses and incentives, plus benefits. Final compensation will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
