The Political Science Lecturer must demonstrate excellence in teaching and have a commitment to integrating new technologies into the learning process. The candidate must also have the ability to inspire, motivate, and empower students to succeed.
The responsibilities for this position include teaching assigned courses, preparing and delivering lectures in a face-to-face and/or online environment, leading and moderating classroom discussions and contributing to the department's activities.

Responsibilities
Deliver lectures, prepare course materials, and facilitate learning experiences for the students in the department.
Demonstrate knowledge of the subject matter.
Maintain accurate and timely records of students grades and attendance.
Participate in departmental and university activities.
Follow established expectations and protocols for the department.
Required Qualifications
Master's Degree in Political Science or related discipline, or Master's Degree with 18 hours of Political Science courses at the graduate level.
College Teaching Experience.
Preferred Qualifications
PhD in Political Science or related discipline with 18 hours of Political Science courses.
