Join Our Dynamic Team as an Industrial Mechanic! Are you ready to take your mechanical skills to the next level? We are seeking a dedicated Industrial Mechanic to support our production facility. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our machinery operates efficiently and safely. Responsibilities: Engage in hands-on mechanical repairs, including bending, lifting, and troubleshooting equipment to keep operations running smoothly. Follow all safety policies and work instructions diligently, prioritizing your well-being and the safety of those around you. Examine machine controls for plate changeovers and initiate machine startups to meet production demands. Conduct regular preventive maintenance checks on all production machinery and equipment. Repair and replace mechanical components such as bearings, filters, wiring, valves, and switches. Observe mechanical devices to identify potential problems through careful listening and inspection. Dismantle machinery as necessary to access and replace defective parts. Adjust functional parts and control instruments for optimum performance. Inspect used parts for changes in dimensional requirements to ensure quality standards. Lubricate and clean machinery to maintain high housekeeping and preventive maintenance standards. Document changeover times and maintain accurate records. Complete all work orders to enhance safety, minimize downtime, reduce scrap, improve quality, and boost plant efficiency. Adhere to all safety rules, including the Lockout/Tagout program, to ensure a secure work environment. Take on other related duties as assigned to support team objectives. Requirements: High School Diploma or GED required. 3-5 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting or equivalent training and experience. Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience with electrical repairs is necessary. Certification as an electrician is preferred but not mandatory. Ability to maintain and troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems effectively. Familiarity with PLC Logic and competency in reading schematics and blueprints. Understanding of electrical panel and drive components. Knowledge of gear trains, shafts, and bearings. proficient in interpreting procedure manuals and technical documents. Ability to use precision measuring devices such as amp meters and hydraulic gauges. Strong problem-solving skills to address practical issues under limited standardization. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations. Demonstrate professionalism, responsibility, and commitment to assigned tasks. Why Choose Us?
