Company Overview: A multi-family office with $28 billion in assets under management, focusing on the unique needs of high-net-worth families, is seeking a Director within the Business Services department to oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with financial regulations. Job Responsibilities: Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset management. Oversee the preparation and review of financial statements in accordance with GAAP. Design, implement, and monitor effective internal controls to safeguard assets and ensure the integrity of financial data. Assist CFO with the oversight, preparation, and filing of all federal, state, and local tax returns. Support budgeting and forecasting processes, providing detailed financial reports and variance analysis. Oversee the maintenance and improvement of accounting systems, driving the adoption of automation and technology solutions. Coordinate and manage the annual financial audit, ensuring timely completion and addressing any issues. Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and ensure alignment with business objectives. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to enhance performance and professional growth. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. CPA required. 7-10+ years of progressive experience in accounting, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a management role. Management company accounting experience required. Proficiency in MS Office and knowledge of relevant accounting software preferred (such as NetSuite and Concur). Experience with tax preparation, planning, and compliance. PowerBI, Alteryx, or other business intelligence tools a plus. Compensation: Salary:
