Senior Tax Manager

Base pay range:

$125,000.00/yr - $150,000.00/yr

Responsibilities

Prepare and review year-end tax provisions in compliance with ASC 740, including Book-to-Tax calculations, effective tax rate, current/deferred provisions, valuation allowance analysis, taxes payable, and return-to-provision adjustments. Collaborate with external tax accounting firms.

Prepare and review federal and state quarterly estimates and extensions for approximately 25 returns.

Assist with corporate federal, state, and international income tax returns, review tax work papers, and coordinate with external firms on filings.

Oversee and manage use tax computations via TR Onesource Tax Engine.

Support audit defense by reviewing information requests and resolving audit issues.

Conduct research and prepare memorandums on complex tax issues for compliance and reporting.

Support mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, R&D studies, and transfer pricing.

Lead tax technology enhancements and process automation initiatives.

Drive improvements in tax processes as the company grows.

Collaborate across tax disciplines, assist other departments, manage external relationships, and advise on tax law changes.

Provide guidance to executive leadership on tax-related matters.

Perform additional tax-related tasks as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (Advanced Degree preferred)

CPA required

4-5+ years in accounting, with at least 3 years in public accounting

4-5+ years in federal/state corporate income tax compliance

3+ years of ASC 740 tax provision experience

Strong interpersonal skills and reliable follow-through

Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office
