Overview

David’s Bridal is hiring a Part-Time Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR is responsible for interacting with all customers in a friendly, empathetic, authentic, and professional manner to deliver a Five-Star Customer Service Experience. The CSR reports to the Store Manager, in partnership with the Operations Supervisor/Manager. The CSR supports the welcome desk, cash wrap, store systems/processes, inventory management, and daily routines to ensure the store is foundationally excellent and that the customer has an exceptional shopping experience.

Responsibilities

  • Welcome all customers with genuine, friendly enthusiasm in person, over the phone, and via virtual chats; adapt communication style to solve problems and resolve conflicts; maintain clear and concise communication.
  • Use all systems to manage customer flow and deliver a Five-Star Customer Service experience.
  • Maintain service vows: be prepared, welcoming, meet needs, and be there for all customers, including completing operational checklists and addressing emotional and practical needs.
  • Provide an exceptional service experience to multiple customers at once while contributing to the store’s Five-Star service goals.
  • Proactively address customer concerns with confidence; know when to escalate and partner with leadership.
  • Explain how alterations can enhance the dress for the event in partnership with Alterations; promote alteration services and personalization options.
  • Maintain store standards to support a flawless shopping experience and uphold the Dress Code policy.
  • Respond promptly to customer questions with product and service information.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships to meet and exceed customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Engage in inventory management procedures, including processing orders, receiving, and ensuring first-quality standards for all merchandise.
  • Support cash wrap processes and transactions with accuracy to ensure customers feel celebrated.
  • Assist with sales promotions and visual updates; perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent, or 1-2 years of prior retail experience in apparel, service, or a specialty store environment.

Base Pay

Base pay range: $11.00/hr – $13.00/hr.
