Contract Administrative Assistant – Shipyard Environment
Location: Harbor Island
Type: 6 Month Contract
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 6:30am-3:00pm
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Administrative Assistant to support operations in a dynamic shipyard environment. This is a 6-Month Contract opportunity ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced, industrial settings and is looking to grow within a long-term role.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide administrative support to shipyard management and project teams
Maintain and organize documentation, reports, and records
Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and data entry
Coordinate meetings and support logistics for on-site activities
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external vendors
Ensure compliance with safety and operational protocols
Qualifications:
Previous administrative experience (shipyard or industrial setting preferred)
Strong organizational and multitasking skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Comfortable working in a shipyard or similar outdoor/industrial environment
Pay Details: $25.00 per hour
