Red Peak Technical Services, LLC, a subsidiary of Alutiiq, LLC, is seeking a well-qualified candidate to fill an Administrative Assistant position in our corporate office in San Diego, CA. The Administrative Assistant will support Navy engineering contracts.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to the Management Team.
- Create, maintain and update various Excel spreadsheets to track expenses and labor hours.
- Answer and direct phone calls.
- Organize and schedule appointments.
- Plan meetings and take detailed minutes.
- Write and distribute emails, correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms.
- Assist in the preparation and distribution of regularly scheduled reports.
- Develop and maintain a filing system.
- Update and maintain office policies and procedures.
- Order office supplies and research new vendors and suppliers.
- Maintain contact lists.
- Assist with coordination of travel arrangements.
- Submit and reconcile expense reports.
- Provide general support to visitors.
- Support team building events.
- Assist with new hire candidates.
- Act as the point of contact for internal and external clients.
Pay rate
$37.50 hourly
Requirements
- Security Clearance: Must be able to obtain and maintain, at minimum a SECRET security clearance.
- H.S. Diploma or equivalent required.
- Pursuant to the Government Contract, you must be a U.S. Citizen.
- The candidate shall have intermediate to advanced computer skills/knowledge in the Microsoft Office suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- The candidate should have a basic understanding of Office 365, SharePoint.
- Candidate should have general knowledge of DoD Contracts.
- The candidate must have excellent communication skills.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize work.
- Attention to detail and problem solving skills.
- A good team player with teamwork spirit when deal with issues; professional and friendly attitude to internal and external customers.
- Detail-oriented. Proactive. Dependable. Adapts to change easily. Good command of communication and coordinating skills. Self-starter.
