Job Description:
We are hiring a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide temporary coverage. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, polished communication, and experience supporting senior leaders. This position is hybrid, requiring four days in-office each week.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for visitors, donors, and incoming calls
- Manage calendars, schedule meetings, and coordinate occasional local travel
- Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations and donor materials
- Support reporting and mailings by maintaining data in Excel
- Assist with meetings, events, and general office support as needed
- Handle correspondence and mail distribution
Qualifications
- 4–7 years of administrative experience, preferably in non-profit, education, or related industries
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams, Office 365)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional etiquette
- Highly organized, adaptable, and able to manage competing priorities
- Temporary assignment: 30–60 days
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm (35-hour work week, 1-hour unpaid lunch)
- Hybrid schedule: 4 days onsite in San Francisco office
