Job Description
- Coordinate all project document control activities, including document/drawing control and project file management.
- Assist in the customer quoting process to ensure clients receive what they require.
- Track and report document/drawing control to ensure compliance with client contracts.
- Support Project Engineers with activities involving projects and equipment.
- Maintain document status by tracking progress and informing Project Engineers.
- Create project schedules as needed.
- Issue shop releases and shipping lists for production.
- Manage transmittal of documents to and from customers.
- Coordinate project wrap-up; prepare final documents/drawings for delivery.
- Create project documents using Word, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
- Develop data books and manuals for each project.
- Perform administrative duties such as shipping, receiving, meeting coordination, filing, and copying.
- Generate reports as necessary.
- Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; previous office experience is a plus; strong organizational and writing skills preferred; intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel is desirable.
