Job Description

  • Coordinate all project document control activities, including document/drawing control and project file management.
  • Assist in the customer quoting process to ensure clients receive what they require.
  • Track and report document/drawing control to ensure compliance with client contracts.
  • Support Project Engineers with activities involving projects and equipment.
  • Maintain document status by tracking progress and informing Project Engineers.
  • Create project schedules as needed.
  • Issue shop releases and shipping lists for production.
  • Manage transmittal of documents to and from customers.
  • Coordinate project wrap-up; prepare final documents/drawings for delivery.
  • Create project documents using Word, Microsoft Project, and Excel.
  • Develop data books and manuals for each project.
  • Perform administrative duties such as shipping, receiving, meeting coordination, filing, and copying.
  • Generate reports as necessary.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree preferred; previous office experience is a plus; strong organizational and writing skills preferred; intermediate knowledge of Word and Excel is desirable.
