Overview

Integer Technologies is seeking a part-time HR Assistant in Baton Rouge to support our Human Resources department with day-to-day tasks and projects. This is an ideal role for a student currently pursuing an HR or Business degree who is eager to gain hands-on professional experience in HR operations, employee engagement, and event coordination.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding documentation and coordination
  • Help maintain accurate employee records and filing systems
  • Help support scheduling of interviews and meetings
  • Assist in preparing materials for training sessions or HR communications
  • Assist with employee engagement initiatives (surveys, communications)
  • Help plan, set up, maintain, and attend company social events (e.g. employee gatherings, celebrations, team-building activities)
  • Coordinate office and event logistics such as planning events, setup/tear-down, keeping refreshments and supplies stocked, etc
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information professionally
  • Provide general administrative support as needed

Additional Baton Rouge Site Responsibilities

  • Serve as point of contact (POC) for Integer headquarters HR and IT teams
  • Maintain inventory of Integer-branded merchandise, IT equipment, and office supplies
  • Manage office security, including keycard tracking and distribution for new hires and visitors
  • Act as liaison with local building management for facility access, maintenance, and janitorial needs
  • Handle mail and package shipping/receiving for the site
  • Ensure break room and restrooms remain stocked with necessary supplies
  • Coordinate QPR logistics (e.g., order and pick up food, secure parking passes, reserve rooms)

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a relatable degree
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Ability to help coordinate and participate in social events
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion
  • Dependable, proactive, and collaborative
  • ~15–20 hours per week (flexible schedule to accommodate class commitments)
  • May occasionally include early evenings or weekends for events if needed
  • Reports to the Director of Human Resources
  • Collaborates with local management and the broader Finance & Admin team
