BUSINESS UNIT: TERMINALS
As the largest independent terminal operator in North America, Kinder Morgan manages 144 terminals that support storage, distribution, blending, and logistics for renewable fuels, petroleum products, chemicals, vegetable oils, and other commodities. Our terminals have a storage capacity of approximately 151 million barrels and handle about 59 million tons of dry bulk materials annually.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Track and report to accounting on straight and overtime hours for Galena Park, Pasadena, and JSTR.
- Coordinate job interviews and schedule HASC training in Pasadena.
- Maintain accurate reports on current headcount and employee pay.
- Verify and ensure correct hours in HBS for all Pasadena and JSTR personnel before submission.
- Monitor P-card statements and usage, preparing reports for monthly review by the terminal manager.
- Submit expense reports for terminal management.
- Manage monthly OPEX and Cost Control data in Access for Pasadena Terminal and report to the Terminal Manager.
- Securely store and dispose of terminal documents using Filetrail.
- Break down commodities entering/leaving the terminals and forecast figures for upper management.
- Participate in monthly MBWA visits to observe operations, identify variances, and perform cleanup if needed.
- Generate recurring reports such as Pasadena Line-up times, Operational Inefficiencies, Activity reports, and KPI reports for GP and Pasadena.
- Greet visitors professionally, present safety information, and handle documentation for audits.
- Maintain TWIC renewal vouchers and annual safety boots programs.
- Order and inventory terminal office and operational supplies regularly.
- Communicate clearly in person and via telephone, demonstrating high verbal skills.
- Interact tactfully and professionally with diverse individuals.
- Write effectively and understand verbal and written communications, including emails.
- Manage tasks independently, adhering to timelines.
- Maintain dependable attendance and high performance levels.
- Work non-traditional hours as needed.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint) and Adobe.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
