Responsibilities

• Be a self-starter; work independently and collaboratively with team members and management.
• Attend required meetings and training; participate in discussions.
• Follow all safety rules and policies as per company manuals and employee handbook.
• Maintain a professional image when interacting with customers and community.
• Engage in available training to develop skills and knowledge.
• Maintain positive relationships with peers, management, and support resources, demonstrating teamwork and customer service.
• Perform duties as assigned professionally and efficiently.
• Drive semi-truck and tractor; load, haul, and unload cargo such as feed commodities, grains, gravel, and farm equipment.
• Safely operate various trailers including A-trail flatbed, belly dump, grain, and lowboy trailers.
• Maintain truck condition; check oil, grease, fluids, fuel, and perform daily cleaning and maintenance.
• Adhere to safety standards and record keeping of loads, hours, and mileage.
• Perform other equipment operation and maintenance duties as assigned.
• Keep truck clean and track all loads with details on origin, destination, and materials transported.
• Previous experience with semi-truck operation in harsh conditions required.
• Valid Oregon Class “A” CDL with appropriate endorsements or farm endorsement.
• Maintain a good driving record.
