Allan Myers is hiring: Tanker Truck Driver in Richmond

Responsibilities

• Operate water, sweeper, or tanker trucks, including night shifts.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure safety and report issues immediately.
• Drive trucks to designated destinations, adhering to traffic laws and road knowledge.
• Work with paving crews and maintain accurate truck logs per regulations.
• Report traffic or site condition problems promptly and gather site information.
• Maintain truck cleanliness and perform repairs as per guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred, or related experience.
• 1-2 years CDL driving experience with GVW of 33,000 lbs or more.
• Tank endorsement required.
• DOT physical compliance.
• Valid Class B Commercial Driver's License required.
• Hazmat experience preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in loading/unloading fuel and oil.
• Valid Driver's License required.
