Base pay

Base pay range: $16.66/hr - $17.16/hr.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous customer service by making eye contact, smiling, greeting customers, and answering questions in a knowledgeable manner.
• Assist customers with merchandise, operate registers as trained, and handle transactions accurately while following company policies.
• Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including cleaning tasks and replenishing merchandise to company standards.
• Ensure safety on the sales floor, keep egress clear, report unsafe conditions to Store Leadership, and support loss prevention and merchandise protection standards.
• Expedite newly received merchandise to the sales floor and present items per monthly guidelines.
• Demonstrate integrity and safeguard confidential information and cash/credit card data.
• Follow MOS (Miss-Out-of-Stock) policies and other store procedures related to merchandise handling and checkout.

Qualifications and Skills

• Effective communication with Customers, Associates, and Store Leadership in a friendly and respectful manner.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations commonly used in retail.
• Ability to spend the majority of time standing, walking, and moving around the store; capable of bending, squatting, reaching, and lifting up to 25 pounds (varying by shift).

Physical Requirements

• Ability to operate store equipment (PDTs, registers, PCs) and to stand for extended periods.
• Regular bending, reaching, and ability to lift or move items as required by the role.
