Overview

As a Learning Data Analyst, you'll provide analytics support for Learning Services, enhancing corporate learning programs and initiatives. Your insights will help business units capture and present data effectively, driving informed decision-making. By utilizing your technical expertise, you'll graphically inform stakeholders about learning outcomes, aligning with Spectrum's mission of continuous improvement and employee development. Your contributions will ensure learning projects are data-driven and impactful, supporting Spectrum's strategic goals and fostering a culture of growth and innovation.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Gather and analyze complex Learning & Development data to support various reporting needs and ensure data integrity.
  • Oversee data import and export processes for departmental reporting, collaborating with HR Technology and external vendors to address data issues.
  • Serve as the point of contact for report metrics, conducting research and analysis to resolve queries.
  • Create dynamic reporting templates and data-driven presentations to support project needs and strategic decision-making.
  • Identify trends in data and translate findings into impactful formats, such as charts and graphs.
  • Make data-based recommendations for process improvements and strategic business decisions.

What You\'ll Bring to Spectrum

Required Qualifications

  • Education
    • Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience
    • 2+ years of data analysis and reporting or related experience
  • Skills
    • Analyze and interpret data
    • Communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner with all levels of management and company personnel
    • Define and analyze key performance indicators and metrics; Document, prepare, and present data-driven presentations
    • Manage multiple projects at one time; Prioritize and organize effectively
    • Show judgment and initiative to accomplish job duties
    • Know HR Learning Services and training course pre/post surveys as a plus
    • Demonstrate effective teamwork and collaboration skills
    • Understand process and project management
    • Use personal computer and Microsoft software applications, such as Word, Excel, Outlook, and Visio
    • Advanced MS Excel skills, including Pivot Tables
    • Be proficient in MS Access and PowerPoint
    • Develop Tableau dashboards effectively
    • Know Microsoft SQL Server (or MySQL) programming skills as a plus
    • Understand Visual Basic Excel Macros and/or JavaScript programming as a plus
    • Read, write, speak, and understand English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Skills
    • Administer Learning Management systems (Cornerstone)
    • PL/SQL experience
    • Be familiar with Cornerstone and/or Xyleme cloud content platforms
    • Know API calls and/or XML/JSON conversions to database tables
    • Have experience with statistics
