A value-oriented investment fund focused on North American small and mid-cap equities is seeking an Equity Research/Data Analyst to join their team. The fund emphasizes long-term investment horizons and utilizes alternative data to identify mispriced securities.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental analysis of publicly traded companies with EV $500 million to $20 billion.
• Provide value-based, long-term investment recommendations along with supporting models, presentations, and reports.
• Develop financial models and track KPIs.
• Monitor price action, news, earnings calls, and industry developments.
• Analyze consumer data and build trading projections (data vs price).

Qualifications:

• Under 5 years of real PNL experience as a sell-side or buy-side analyst.
• Experience covering technology, healthcare, or consumer sectors.
• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills.
• Proficient in Excel, Bloomberg, FactSet, or similar financial tools.

Compensation: Salary: $100,000 – $150,000, Plus Bonus
