Title: Project/Program Manager NON IT 3
Duration: 12- months
Location: Mossville, IL (5 days/week onsite)
Pay Range: $40- $42/hr W2
Summary:
· The main function of a non-IT project manager is to plan, direct, or coordinate activities in such fields as engineering, research and development, financial systems and product roll-out, etc. or any other non-IT based project.
Job Responsibilities:
· Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
· Present and explain proposals, reports and findings to clients.
· Analyze technology, resource needs and market demand, to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
· Confer with management, production and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
Taks Breakdown:
· Control Meetings, gathering tasks from team members, updating project plans, analyzing data from changes made to project plan (week over week variances, critical path analysis, etc.).
· Understand/implement scrum working with team members for continuous improvement, prioritizing work and having an understanding of the customers’ backlog and needs.
· Be able to take complex information and break It down into smaller, understandable, actionable pieces of work
Skills:
· Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
· Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
· Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
· Proficient in computer software, such as MS Suite including Azure DevOps and MS Project.
Position Contribution to Work Group:
· Serve as a project coordinator working with technical leads on projects.
· Responsible for maintaining Microsoft Project Plans and/or Azure DevOps
· Coordinating meetings, driving action items, thinking analytically, provide decision support for project owners / product managers.
Education/Experience Required:
· 4-year bachelor’s degree with 5-7 years of project related experience.
· Agile/scrum master experience
· Traditional waterfall project experience
