Job Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to oversee the implementation and retirement of laboratory equipment in a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting. This role requires a strong understanding of lab operations and instrumentation, along with experience in project coordination and technical documentation. The ideal candidate will have experience in laboratory science and be comfortable managing cross-functional initiatives in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage implementation plans for new lab instruments and equipment
- Write, revise, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Lead validation and qualification processes for new equipment
- Create and manage change orders in accordance with regulatory standards
- Oversee technical writing and documentation for equipment and processes
- Coordinate installation and decommissioning of lab equipment
- Collaborate with lab staff, quality assurance, and engineering teams to ensure seamless execution
Required Skills
- Bachelor degree in related field
- Validation and equipment qualification
- Familiarity with general lab instrumentation
- Project management and coordination
- Technical writing and SOP development
- Understanding of laboratory workflows and healthcare compliance
- Experience with change control processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Laboratory knowledge or hands-on experience with lab equipment
- Ability to troubleshoot and support equipment setup
- Experience working in a regulated healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and timelines
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $45.00/hr.
