We are looking for an experienced Project Manager/Sr. Consultant to join our team in Los Angeles, California. This is a long-term contract opportunity for a detail-oriented individual skilled in Agile methodologies and IT project management to lead and deliver critical initiatives. The ideal candidate will be adept at managing cross-functional teams and driving projects to successful completion.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of IT-focused projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
• Facilitate Agile Scrum ceremonies and promote Agile best practices across teams.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to achieve desired outcomes.
• Utilize Atlassian tools, including Jira, to track progress, identify risks, and report on project status.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment.
• Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and resolving any roadblocks.
• Monitor project performance metrics and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide expert guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance project management capabilities.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout project lifecycles.• Proven experience in IT project management within Agile environments.
• Certification in PMP or equivalent project management credentials.
• Strong knowledge of Agile Scrum methodologies and principles.
• Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira and other project management tools.
• Exceptional ability to manage resources, budgets, and timelines effectively.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to work with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills to assess risks and propose solutions.
• Ability to adapt to dynamic environments and handle multiple priorities.
